modding the 9 new maps

Hey I have a really quick question. I know how to mod maps in terms of applying ppfs and serenitys to the original maps on Halo 2. But I would like to know how to apply the patches to one of the 9 new maps. I mean I know how to apply the patch, but do I just replace the newly patched map back where I found it? (which is somewhere in the TData or UData, I can't remeber right now but I can find them). I have tried to do this once, by just replacing the original map with a new patched one, but it said it failed to load the map. I put the file right back where I found it, but I do know that sometimes certain mods just "don't work" and they always fail the map. So am I doing this right or what? Thanks for all the help, it is greatly appreciated!!

What I said is obviously a joke. If I was serious, it would have gone something like this:
"Xbox live modding is not allowed here. At all. End of story."
Then Ketchup would have said:

I especially liked HitmanGRs response. I love it when people make fools of themselves. (As I have done it many times.)
Hitman, for furture reference, and you can quote me on this, the DLC maps' encryption are tied to the eeprom. If one changed, then they will not load.
It's not the patch, it's the encryption. It has to sta-- whoa. Almost let out the 1337 h4x that would allow you to mod on Live. =x
