main menu music injection??

ok, i been serchin far and wide,and i still cant,for some reason, figure out how to inject my music.
1.followed everything with converting it to .wma
2.folowed all the hex editing procedures (like with winhex,etc.)
3.and tryed my sound injection wayz.
1 time i did it,and got no music at all.and another time,it didnt make a diffference. idont know exacty how to do this rite.i want to put a 30 second song in it from notorious B.I.G
can somebody please help me?????????
