i just installed halo and halo ce on my pc
but when i try and get in
it says i need to login as an admin and try again
what can i do to get around this

make it so that you are the administator of your computer

Theres also this hidden profile called ADMINISTRATOR on Windows XP where you can change it, but I forget how to get it.

on any windows xp computer, all you have to do is sign on one of the accounts that is an admin. it is not secret or anything. you can eaither be a computer administrator or a limited access user

i used the safemode admin to get in and install halo
but if i try and run it in safe mode i cant
is there a way that i can get in the admin account thats not in safe mode without useing a password?

Heh good old safe mode i used this method below when my parents put a password on the computer
Go into safe mode
Sign into the default user
Go to Control Panel
Hit new account
And give Admin privliages

It might also work with editing accounts but i dont remember its been to long since i've done this

that, or just go to control panel, users and passwords, and change yourself to an admin.......or just get your parents to do it

hmmm i think i did that
and when im in safe mode i cant acces my current account

Well, on my windows 98, i just hacked the system, made it into profile account mode, and for user name i typed in Administrator and for password i left it blank. and then bam! access to the WHOLE ENTIRE COMPUTER. even the fiels that you dont even know about!

sweet ill have to creat a new admin account
