[Halo 2] Patching problems

Ive made a mod and i would like to let you lot see it and try it out, but im having some problems with the patch. Once ive made the patch in serenity, as dothalo says there are no changes

i tried to play it, and its the same with my friends, it either freezes at the lobby, or says failed to load map.

Its all been signed and everything, and ive tried making a pff in ppf studio, but it says that the files arent the same size, could this have anything to do with it? if so how to i sort this problem out?
