Help, Cant load Halo 2 mod maps.

I just installed United map pack 1.5 on my Xbox. I have all the new Bungie's DLC. I erased all the cache files. Everytime, I try to load an UMP map it takes me back to the pregame lobby. I doesnt say that it failed to load map. What gives? What do I need to do?

It's the AU. (Auto Update)
You need to rename it in order for the map pack to load.
Go to E:\TDATA\4d530064\$U\
And rename all these files with a '2' at the end of them. Example:
contentmeta.xbx
to
contentmeta2.xbx
Do that to all three files and then load H2. The DLC maps will not show up now, but you will be able to play the map pack.

Yeah, I just saw your video. Good vid. Can you still play Xbox Live after renaming it?

When you want to play on xbl again, then go back to that directory and just delete the '2' off the name.
Then you will be able to log into xbl.

Cool thanks, By any chance do you have the autoupdate before the latest one. I like playing with the new gameplay. I was thinking putting that one instead so I could play same way, I play in LIVE. I am use to meleing people twice to kill them.

Handing that out is illegal. But if you have the Maps Disc (DLC disc) then you can aquire it through that.
