HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

OK, I've followed just about every tutorial out there, had PM conversations with people, and none of it helps. Here's my problem:

I cannot have more that 2 mods for any map. I can overwrite the original map with one, and I can create only 1 seperate tab for another mod. But if I try to make seperate tabs for a map that already has a mod with its own seperate tab (did that make sense?), it just will not work. Let's say I have Descension with it's own tab, if I try and create a new tab for Zentation, Zentation will not work. I will start the game, it will countdown, and then the screen goes black, and returns to the menu. I have tried everything I can possibly think of to get this working. Nothing has. This is really bothering me because everytime I want to play a new mod, I have to go through the entire elaborate process of Hex Editing/DotHaloing/PPF-O-Matic-ing/Overwriting.

The programs I've got to work with are Serenity, PPF-O-Matic, DotHalo, and HexWorkshop. I don't really want to have to download anything else, but I suppose I could if it's really necessary.

Please, if anyone can help me get AS MANY mods for a single map, please help me! This is really starting to bother me!

Read the post and listen to the tutorial. That is the 'correct' way of adding maps to the menu.

Anyways, that tutorial didn't help anything. I followed all the directions to the best of my ability (I knew most of the stuff I in it already), and I changed the auto update names, but still nothing. I might have done something wrong, but I don't like video tutorials much, words work better for me.

[Edit] Where can I find the 9 new maps if I DL'd them from Xbox Live? I can't find the right directory....

The loading of the map and then having it bump you back to the pre-game lobby is caused by the AU so just rename it and that will change the AU.
And as for only having one tab, then you are not listening clearly. You have to have unique scenario names for EVERY map you add.
Say you want Decnesion and Zenetation. Decension has to have it's own scenario and Zenetation has to have it's own as well.
Also, one thing you may be doing wrong is in the matg tag, you could have 'Locked' clicked with would cause it not to show up. Or you could have made it so no teams are allowed on the map so no one will spawn, that's in the matg tag too. OR you are choosing the value of 12 for the map over and over. You have to add maps to different numbers. Again, say Decension has number 12, then Zenetation has to be 13. OR it could be that your 'Value' and 'Next Value' are conflicting. Make sure those are unique to the maps as well. Start off at say 420 (Like I do), then the next map you add make it 450. Then the next map would be 460 etc etc.

Hmmmm... You know, I know I changed the AU names, but now that I found the folder for the new maps, I decided to double check, and they weren't changed..... I still don't know if it works or not, I'm transferring the new maps as I speak.
