Maps aren't loading

I softmodded my xbox, took the new maps off the harddrive. I have been trying to use dothalo and after i make my changes, I fix the encryption. Then, i resign the map file and overwrite the original file on my xbox. It always says map failed to load. I have tried everything. Any help is appreciated.

You cannot mod the new maps in their original directory. Their encryption signature is tied to your eeprom-- blah blah blah..
Just do
this.

i listened to that tut(it was very good btw) but i have a question.
if u sign onto live with the files renamed wont it ask u to redownload them?
or are u supposed to rename them bak to their original each time?

That will not enable you to mod on xbl. So don't.

well i downloaded other peoples ppf files and modded the maps using them and it worked then. It only doenst work when i try to mod the maps
