cd key lost (I'm not asking for anyones cd key)

omg this stinks reall bad
I have lost my cd key for halo... Does anyone know if microsoft would send me a new cd key if I gave them proof I actually own halo?

I believe they will, you have to give them the Product ID i think it is. Well anyway you have to call them i think with the product ID number. If it's not the real one they will not give a cd key.

If you actually call up and talk to sombody and explain what happened im sure they will give you a new number, but actually call dont e-mail them, so they can see that your not just some kid trying to get a free game. They might also ask you some simple questions too, no biggie.

well i got a question. So how many versions are there of halo for pc? I just purchased parts for a whole new computer and i finally have a half-descent video card 6600GT AGp. Anyway.. so ive only seen Halo in stores. Whats Halo CE? DO i have to have halo 1 installed, then install some updates?

Halo CE is halo Custome Edition, which you cant buy in stores only download, you dont have to have Halo PC installed but you do need a valid cd-key...Halo CE is for making custom maps and content using HEK, 3dsmax etc.., but take note that it is more difficult to mod CE then PC, but some of the maps are quite good and some even feature actual halo 2 content(though this isnt always legit), if you like halo Halo CE is definatly worth the download so you can play the custom maps.

..........yes halo CE's extras were made by gearbox but obviously the original content was made by bungie, hence "bungie/gearbox"
