You can rip things out, put them in other games (lame), or just render them in 3ds max.
Cant make new maps.
Nothing else.

How can you get halo 2 objects in 3Ds Max so that you can render them? Edited: Instead of 3Ds Max (to exspensive!), can you render the items from halo 2 with GMAX?

well if you have adi2 then you have all you need except for the maps. in adi2 you can export the models in the [mode] tag. to do this you need to click the thing that appears at the bottom when you click on a model tag. if you dont see this icon, then do the following. go into your adi root directory. then go to the libraries folder. in that folder see if you have the file "modellib.dll". if you do, great. if not do the following. download
this and put it in the libraries folder(unrar first). and now that you have the modellib.dll in the libraries folder open the list.ini in either notepad or wordpad. and add the line "modellib.dll" and then save and close. now open adi2 back up and open the map you want to export from. then click the model that you want to export. now click on the house icon that appears at the bottom right. and now check wavefront obj and click export. now you are done exporting the model! good for you, now settle down your still not done. go into your 3d modeling program and click file->import and then select wavefront obj as the filetype and then browse to the folder you saved your model(s) to. once you are in that folder import everything ending in ".5". this .5 at the end means that that model is the highest level of detail. once you have that done SAVE. then go back into adi and extract all of the bitmaps for the model you extracted and then apply them in your 3d program. (they should automatically fit onto it) then you are ready to go.
note:you may have to attach the models together for the bitmaps to work right.
if you have any questions or problems with anything please feel free to PM me or contact me on AIM. or just post, that will work too.
edit: thank you to narker for pointing out that gmax doesnt render and you need Yafray.

You didn't fucking buy it. Only people serious about it (as in professionally educated, Veegie, and the ones who format there hard drive and use someone else's internet to use the trial over and over again, ) would spend the money on it.

sorry i thought i cleared that up enough, you go into the model tag and select the model in there. not the vehicle tag or weapon tag.
