Weird Halo 2 problem

Whenever I play a level in multiplayer by myself, the colors get very messed up and alot of glare is on the screen, but when it's in splitscreen everything is fine. Anyone know what's wrong? It almost becomes unplayable...

Well it depends on a couple of things...
1. if you play split screen more then regular u could just not be used to looking at a bigger screen( which cuase more colors to be visable)
2. there could be problem with the x-box
3. problems with the tv.
4. scratched disk.
5. there could be a problems with ur eyes
