why the hell everytime i make a vid with fraps it always make BIG FILES
i made this one video and its 145MB(145,000kb) and its only 28 secs long!!!

yeah same thing here, thats just the fraps video form, like the files in the fraps movie folder? well all u need to do is get it in wmm add in the stuff u want, then save it to your comp, it will instead of being .avi format, it should be .wmv, so now it should be smaller, mb wise or kb wise..

A 28 second wmv file should be around 10 megabites.

??? WTF ????? no it shouldnt, at least 2 megs, cause i made a minute long trailer and it was well over 1 meg, 28 seconds, at least in the kb range......

When you say meg, do you mean gig? Did you make this "1 meg" file with fraps? You might have confusion with file sizes.

recording sound makes the files quite a bit bigger than only video recordings.

Not even a 28 second wmv is less than 2 megabites, you must be mistaken.

i try to save it but u can only save as .mswmm not anything else

no no no, in wmm, go to the branch that says, finish movie, and then hit save..itll save as wmv, u saved it as a project file....
