Injecting bitmaps

Why is it when I try to inject certain bitmaps, it says the file needs to be DXT1, even though it already is, and if I change it to DXT3, it says it need to be DXT 2/3 or 4/5, and if I chage it to DXT5, it says it needs to be DXT1. (Sorry if that was a little confusing)

It will say what DXT it is before you extract it.
