HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

i made a model in blender (im not going to to use 3ds Max or anything else, just blender) and i want to know how u can add colors to your model

like for example, i wanna color some parts of my model red, some parts blueish like the h2 energy sword and black, but i dont know how so...

i didnt find any tuts outside of halomods about coloring in blender because i didnt really feel like it...

i dont kno how to but dont you mean skinning?
