HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

do you have to have a chip to have mods for halo on your xbox?
or can you just make the mod and ppf it for xbox on your computer and have a certain cable to upload it on your xbox?

if you can just have a cable, what is it called and where can i get it? an answer would be awsome.

You need a chip, or a softmod to allow Halo to be burned on your HDD. Then you need to FTP the map to your PC, apply the .ppf, then you can play it.

what is a softmod?
is it just basicly a chip?

It's using a gamesave exploit and 1 of 3 games *Mechassault, 007:AUF, or Splinter Cell* to mod your Xbox although there's some things you can't do such as use trainers.
