Mod problems "Gathering exception data..."

Every time I try to use something like HHT or HMT on either PC or Custom Edition, I can do the editing just fine, but when I get in game and try to fire or do anything, Halo minimizes and gives me a error saying "Gathering exception data" and closes. I know I'm not the only one with this problem, but I haven't been able to find an answer... Any ideas?

We would need to know what you are trying to do to give specifics on why
it happens. the minimising and "gathering Exceptions" just indicates that
some kind of swap was made thatHalo cannot run with.

Tell me exactly what kind of Mod your attempting.

It's just a simple swapping the projectiles. IE plasma nades for the shotgun pellets.
