Halo 1 pc modding invis

Post by purfus »

I'm not very experienced at modding halo but I've tried everything I know. I'm trying to mod the invis powerup to act different. I'm not sure what exactly I want it to do yet but I want to experiment with it. I was thinking it would be cool if it was only invis when u stand still. Or maybe make it mimic the texture your standing on. Basically I would like to make it more like camo and less like a semi transparency. Is this stuff even posible?

For halo one PC, you would have to edit the shaders. Since there are no plugins for the shaders that are advanced enough to do that, I don't think it is possible. It is probably possible in CE though.

You can set MC on fire already.

Just use HHT to swap the cyborg flashlight effect with the flame effect, when you switch the flashlight on, his head catches fire.

Er, don't ask me how I found this out....

(Sorry if this is a bit off topic.)
