error in winrar

i downloaded a mod but when i try to put the new map into my halo pc maps folder or any other folder an error comes up saying "! C:\Documents and Settings\Mark Rizzo\My Documents\downloads\143537.zip: Cannot create Silent Cartographer 2:Timberland 2\b30.map
The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect."
has this ever happened to anyone else and how do i stop it? i really want to play this mod but i cant save the files anywhere!

Try reinstalling it, it worked for me.

Just right click the .ZIP and hit Extract Here. That doesn't require a folder to be created. Did you download the entire file? It could be that the file's damaged.

i tried that and the same error comes up but it only extracts the folders that are holding the files not the actual files. and i dont think its damaged because i tested it and it said no errors were found. should i maybe try to download it again (it'll take 40 minutes)

You could try to download it again, but I'd try downloading a smaller .rar or .zip file and seeing if you can extract that.

i can extract smaller files but not that huge one for some reason.

i just redownloaded the file and it still ddn't work.
