HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

Hey, I was wondering why my mods only work in games I host, and not in others. I've seen people use mods in games I've hosted, and I was wondering if I'm able to do that as well...

...Just to let you know, I'm not one of those modders who goes into games and cheats to be an ass. I'm one of those "anti-cheaters" who uses my mods for good, instead of evil....or for fun, when everybody can use 'em.

Why I ask is, I've been in games where the host of the server is away, and there was a modder we couldn't kick. I'm one of those people who would love to fight their mods with mods....

You can't use mods in other people's games, unless the host has it running too. They can't use it for cheating, except for making stuff see-through so they can see where you are, but it's really hard to play like that. You can change the plasma guns so they don't overheat, but they will overheat because the server controls them, but you will see that they don't. So don't bother, because all the stuff you can use to cheat is server controlled.
