[Halo CE] Problems with tool

Post by ~WD~ church »

I just spent a long time using the tutorials on how to make the map "splinter". But when I try to use tool, it always says that "tool" is not a recognizable batch file or exe or something like that. Yeah, I made sure my path to my halo ce folder was right, but I still get the same error... Can anyone link me to a tutorial ar tell me here? I don't want that map to go to waste :)

If all elese fails you can always use Tool++ by Kornman00. And is tool in the Halo CE folder? Make you sure you didnt delete it on accident.

Well, kinda, I didn't use the "cd" command you did. I typed the prompt command like this: Image
(I know you don't just type tool, but I wanted to show you what it says no matter what I do.) I noticed the command doesn't have the > simbol at the end. Is that the problem...or something else... Yeah, My line was the same as yours, but once again, it doesn't have the > at the end...

EDIT: Hey, I figured out an easier way! I just went into the system 32 directory in WINDOWS, and i copied "cmd" and pasted it into the halo directory. It automaticaly uses that directory, so thanks for your help. I appreciate it.
