ok, h2_scorpion

ok ive made this h2 scorpion mod and all its missing is a new model and a skin, but i dont really care its just looks, but the real thing thats missing is its armour. in halo 2 u need a weapon like the brute shot or stronger to take out a scorpion cause it has so much armour. like i read in a halo magazine once"you wont get shot out of the tank by one guy with a pistol anymore" says a bungie member, which is true, dual magnums isnt near strong enough to eliminate a tank. so i got my tank mod, but its still super vulnerable like it used to be, but im trying to make it halo 2ish so how do make it so that it has more "armour" so, like, damage done to u while in the tank is reduced by 3 times, is there a tag in hmt somewhere where i can edit that? somone plz help me out here

don't double post noob, plus wtf? your post is really confusing,
from what i understood, did you say that you have a h2 tank but not the halo 2 model and halo2 skin, then what is the exact thign that makes the tank a halo 2 one..
^doesn't make sense, does it?

hey guys, what i really mean is that i moded the halo 1 tank to be like the halo 2 tank, so all thats missing is the appearence stuff like skinning and maybe remodeling. but what i really wanted was how to make the tank protect u more when ur in it. if anyone could anwer my question id appreciate that

I know a way! Batch extract b40.map, and then take the scorpion.coll from vehicles/scorpion/ and then batch extract the map you're modding, and put the scorpion.coll to replace the vehicles/scorpion/scorpion_mp.coll or whatever the scorpion's multiplayer collision is. I think it will make your tank protect you more, like how it does in single player.

when i swaped the scorpion mp to scorpion it changes it collision too, but it doesnt make much difference except i think its harder to snipe.

i could do without the flaming, if you viewed my inbox you could see that im helping like 4 ppl at a time that are new to moding and teaching them how to make better mods than just projectile swaps. im only asking a simple question here. and btw theres supposed to be something like 15000 registrants here.

No, I mean swap the scorpion mp collision with the scorpion sp's collision. Or maybe you can use phenomena's collision plugin to change how much damage your vehicle takes when it gets shot, but I have no idea how to work any of phenomena's plugins.

wait, phenom has a plugin that changes damage done to vehicles??!! where is it, i never saw it it must be in utilities thanx for alerting me on that :D

Well, no, but you can use his damage plugin and you can change how much damage bullets do to metal, or whatever the scorpion's material is.
