Modded profile.

There are about a BILLION topics out there talking about all of the hex offset lists for symbols in profile names and gametypes, but there is only an app for creating modded gametypes. There still isn't a program for Halo 2, to my knowledge that will create the profile with symbols. I had tried to open up an existing profile from my HD and edited it with a hex editor (XVI32), replacing the letters with hex symbols. I saved it, signed it, and put it back in the folder, but I was concerned about the savemeta.xbx not updating by itself. It didn't, so I basically have to figure out a way to build a profile from the ground up. Suggestions? I am sure I am missing something painfully obvious and a mistake in my method, so what is the easiest way to accomplish this?
