DDS Changing

I wnat to know if im useing the right program, im using Photoshop to edit my dds files but when i save them i can load them into the map it says they need to be DXT1 but i did save it as DXT1 and I just want to know why it wont work can some on help me

yeah that happens to me to sometimes, but as far as i know there's no way around it...

try the different dtx types

don't you mean dxt? in photoshop "DXT" is there, not dtx and he has photoshop.

if it has mipmaps when you go to edit it select dont show them. then select generate mipmaps when saving it.
