Skinning Problem

Post by mmduncan »

With all due respect to those of you out there who have already conquered this problem, I have yest to find a way to avoid it; even after having spent countless hours in these forums.
Does anyone know how to solve the issue of newly skinned models appearing black from a distance even though, when up close, the skin appears fine?
I doubt that the skins (de 7th Sanctum) I'm using are the problem, nor are the programs I am using to inject the .dds files as they are all current versions/downloads.
All Responses are Much Appreciated.

I think it's a simple Level of Detail problem. Nothing to really worry about though, methinks.

A 'level of detail' problem easily fixed by doing what? it is, after all, very distracting.
