how to edit the "killed by" words?

hi i want to change "maffegerrit was killed by lamer" to like "maffegerrit was owned by lamer"
can someone helop me out?? i checked in the ui.map, but nutting saw...
u are my god if u can help mein the least g a y way possible

In halo 2 you open the map file in a hex editor and search for the text string Killed and Change it there but you can not add characters only change the existing ones save re sign an your done

ok now, i tryed it wit ha hex editor. but hwen i wanna start BG up.. errer...

ive done this...
ok, if your using hex work shop i can help, then tell me, and ill pm you a short tutorial, though its tedious...
be sure not to use the map that had the err on it. >.start fresh.<
EDIT: just in case your wondering why the hell im awake now, i cant sleep, tooooooo much MT. Dew... im not obsessed, its just the only thing i do, jk...
