HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

When loading halo 2, I go to system link,and when I go to change map, I see the map names.

I want to have the origional and the moded maps on there, but dont know how.

I think thatI have to change the mainmenu.map file, but dont know how.

Does anyone know how?

here's a PPF file to apply to your mainmenu.map. rename all your modded maps with _modded.map at the end of them. example Zanzibar_modded.map. You will see all your regular maps PLUS all your modded maps. Here's a link to the download. compliments of group bocked.

Want to mod maps, but don't want to get rid of the original ones to do it?
Simple, apply this .ppf to your mainmenu.map, and make copies of each of your multiplayer maps, adding the text "_modded" after each mapname.
Example, zanzibar.map would be zanzibar_modded.map and lockout.map would be lockout_modded.map. This way, you can have your original unmodified maps for use on Xbox Connnect/LAN, and Your own modded maps too.

As an added bonus, you can now load up "shared.map", "single_player_shared.map"

It works, but when i go to change maps, I see all the origional maps(lLockout to Foundation) , then the moded maps(Ascension_Moded to Zanzibar_Moded), then I see Single_Player_Shared, then I see Shared, then I see the Single Player maps ( SinglePlayer_00aIntroduction to SinglePlayer_08b_deltacontrol).

Is there a way to create my own Mainmenu map and have what maps I want on there?

Is this patch supose to work like this?

I replaced the mainmenu.map with another one that I patched now and it still showes the samething.
