Recently I have been making a mod, my halo cd was in it's drive and everything was fine... then my cd-rom drive, made a eiree noise and I heard a shatter. The Halo CD shattered... I was sad... blah blah blah. My CD-Rom drive won't open, I need to get it fixed. Though I can't live without Halo (Not trying to sound Mellow-Dramatic.) My friend came over the next day and he got me a crack for a no-cd. I was mad, because i'm not into piracy. Yeah, okay... blah blah. Now I need the original map files, because they are all messed up. I wanna play multiplayer with them. I need bloodgulch and deathisland. I would appreciate any help. Sorry for the story lol.

Halo Files
Well, this hasnt been asked before, i dont believe. Anyway to start off, if your friend has a halo cd. I understand why you cant use it. Your drive broke. Ok. One way is to download the demo edition from the internet, the free version. It is not illegal, dont worry. If your like that. Go to www.microsoft.com and check out the halo site. They have a link for the demo. Download and install. You will get your maps back. If that doesnt work, PM me. On Yahoo or the site instant messege, i will give you instructions how to fix your diskdrive. Before that, go to My Computer, right click your Cd drive and click eject, see if it comes out.
