Why am I here?
what exactly are you trying to accomplish here. I know you want to softmod your box, but what are u trying to achieve?? be a little more specific and maybe i can give u some pointers. want to upgrade your hard drive? want to be able to use modded maps for halo? want to be able to play emulators? u want skins? etc etc...do u have xbox live? there's different ways u can go about it depending on what you want as a result of the softmod.
Just so you know, i hope u have a lot of patience because getting all the programs and settings together is a bit of a pain. If you DO have xbox live, and want to continue using it, you CANNOT go on in a modded state because your EEPROM WILL BE BANNED from xbl. you will then in turn need whats called an EEE swither (easter egg exploit) which will allow you to turn the softmod on/off without the use of an exploitable game. you will then be able to connect to xbl at a virgin state and without a problem. There are many theories about microsoft doing hard drive scans, but these are NOT true. there is also the marriage theory which states that each EEPROM is married to a specific HD serial number which is scanned by microsoft. Ill show you how to get around this. just give me a little more INFO. thanx
