All my maps are HLD files I NEED HELP!!

i was playing with some mods and since u cant have 2 of the same map names i was changing them like Gruntgulch insted of bloodgulch then i got errors so i removed all my bloodgulches then later all my maps be came HLD Files instead of map Files and all my maps have the same name of Awakining_beta(1) - Awakining_beta(60) i dont know y but i NEED HELP!

do u mean that the file extension of each of your maps was changed to .hld?????
thats pretty strange.....

yea and it would be practically impossible to find the names of each map again and rename them all

NO it sucks i think im just gunna delete CE then download it again and get a map pack

rofl, i hear you, that is pretty danm funny...and that is very strange...try opening them up in a hex editor and then just renaming them to what they were before with a .map extension...
