Xbox Live Bannage?

Ok, I'am getting a
great internet connection in a couple of days so I'm probably gunna get Xbox Live too.
!
Thing is I've got a modchip installed..
My Xbox has a switch on the side of it so I can turn the chip on/off, if I turn it off will Xbox Live ban me?

Well I'm not exactly sure about this but I would think if your mod chip is on you may get banned, so if I were you I would turn it off each time you wanna play.

Yea, you can get banned if you have a mod chip in there.
Halo2 (supposedly) has a mini trojan in it that supposed to detect whether your modding or not. So make sure it's off, before going on live.
Connect doesn't mind though, cuz its free

Well if I don't get banned, I'm game.
If not I'll go on my friends XBL, lol.
