Didn't exactly know where to post this but, would it be possible to extract a halo 2 model and textures and create a map on Halo CE with the model?

yes. they are doing this for coagulation ce.

What about the energy sword and animation trigger because they should have used that instead.

thats awesome, so if i start working on a map of my own for me and my friends, it would work? thats sweet... plus does anyone know how to extract the bsp so i can open it in 3ds max? lol

While you're at it, do the halo 2 energy sword and give me the results of your work.....You know, your map and energy sword tags

lol ok but this is only like my first map so...
