Getting in to your ded server

ok, I have a dedicated server, put i Can't enter it my client n port is at 2302 any help?

I'm pretty sure that you cant enter your own ded server.(unless theres some super-cool tool out that can let you)! :o

edit: The port number for a DS(dedicated Server) uses 2302 for the default. You have to change the port numbers in Halo itself, not the DS. You change them to 3000 and 3001.

No its 3000 and 3001. Just incase none of you noticed his error in one 0 missing.. :shock:

thats weird cuse mine arent there by default my dedicated server runs on my spare pc 24 hours :roll:

ok thanks and one more question would my firewall conflict with any thing on my ded?

On the high setting, only mcafee gave me trouble when I had it, but now i have Norton 2004 and SP2(Service Pack 2) running at full power, and i get no trouble from them. Just make sure you have the right exceptions in the SP2 firewall for Halo to connnect. SP2 should ask you anyway about allowing Halo.
