This is what I hate about CE. When it's loading the custom maps, it's slow and takes 1-2 minutes to start up.

There is a thing called Map Manager, which allows you to select your maps before startup, thus, making loading very fast.

It loads slow, becuase the game has to calculate all the map's Header Data into the UI temporarily, so it shows in-game.

So, would you like a bit slow loading time, which is fixed with Map Manager, or would you like to patch your files every single time you want to play a different map?

I have 1.1gb of maps, and CE takes about 20 seconds to load...It takes longer to search for updates!! ..So yeah, its to do with PC speed
