Hard drive crash...

Ok, my hard drive at home has crashed and it does need to be replaced, what I wanted to know is, is there a way to extract the files from the old one, even it it has crashed. The error was not software, it was hardware...

What was ironic is, that we received our backup hardrive in the mail the same day, incase something like that did happen... -.-'

no..it crashed meaning it has lost its functions.meaning you cant ftp into to get ur files back..
