problem with hmt 3.5

ok i need help, for some reason when ever i go into hmt 3.5 (or hmt 3), then bitmaps and try to save any of the bitmaps files so i can edit them i get no pop up saying the save was complete and the file itself is a white box. PLEASE HELP ME

1 Make sure your butmaps.map is unmodded
2 make sure the map file you are trying to mod is in the same folder as bitmaps.map
3 make sure none of your hmt files are corrupted
4 try to d/l hmt again
5 try to use hht if hmt dosent work

1. I dont know what "butmaps" are but my bitmaps are unmodded
2.my map file is in the same folder as my bitmaps
3.how do i check to make sure my hmt files arnt corrupted
4. I have, multiple times.
5.hht allows me to extract bitmaps as .dds files?
I'll have a nice day when hmt is working again so I can finish my mod

Do you have all of the things needed for HMT? Such as .NET Framework, and DirectX etc etc?

yes i do, i was able to save bitmaps as .dds before, now i cant

did you try to reinstall halo and d/l hmt again?

Well if you're halo works correctly I'm clueless on this. Unless maybe you're trying to save it as a file other than a dds

i cant save it as another type (ive tried) the file itself saves but its a 0 bite white box, is there supposed to be a bitmaps plug in? cause i dont have one
