Help with conversions!!

I need to convert either a .gmax or .p3d file into .obj...or atleast something that can be converted into .obj!! I made my first (bad) model just recently in GMax, and can't do anything with it!! Argh!! If anybody could tell me what to do with it it would be greatly appriciated!!
