My computer is being retarded, can anyone help?
My computer is being extremely retarded, it randomly disconnects from the internet, the sound drivers keep uninstalling themselves and I can't use IE (not that I want to use it anyways, IE sucks!). When my computer disconnects, the other computers using the same connections still work, so it's not because of my connection it's because of my computer. Does anyone know what is causing this? I don't think it's spyware or a virus because I've scanned my computer a few times already with kaspersky antivirus and norton antivirus and some adware detectors.

have you tried doing a disk cleanup/system restore/disk defragmenter?
and norton is a piece of shit. 100$ and all i get is "do you want to delete these files during the next reboot?". of course i do you stupid software err
if the above doesn't work.. try reinstalling your internet explorer. it may be corrupt and your software doesn't recognize it.
and if that doesn't work... call your technical support because the last thing you want to do is re-format lol, and i don't know why i'm replying to this since i'm a moron when it comes to computers XD

Are you using any kind of auto update? Or have you been hex editing alot?
Pehaps something went wrong during your OS instalation. How old is your comp? How long have these problems been happening. Have you checked the validity of your .net jack? (I mean actually look at the cable and jack to see if they might be scratched up or damaged in any kind of way.)
Do your siblings come onto your PC? Have you mass deleted any folders or files recently?
What OS version do you have? (Win 98, Win XP?)
I beleive that perhaps your processor may be faulty. Think of the Halo book (I'm not joking around, I built my comp). In it, it says cortana felt streched out after absorbing the Halo information. I think that either your processor is faulty or you dont have enough room on your comp to handle the programs.
The internet requires constant check and connection. So the processor is constantly being used, reconnecting with stuff. So I suggest the following:
1) Buy a new comp if you want and take your HD to a service store to extract the files you want from it.
2) place you important files (mods, pics, homework, anything you dont want to redo) unto a portable drive. Remove it, and preform a complete system reinstall (as in remove your OS and all files, then install it again.)
3) Delete files you no longer need. Take time to look at mods you have started on and you dont want to finish and delete them or compress them. Then right click the Recycle Bin and select "Empty" (I freed up 2 GIGABYTES this way myself)
4) You know that little baloon that pops up on the tool bar of Win XP and says "new files ready to install"? Click it.
5) If your sound drivers keep uninstalling, try to place them in a system folder. Make sure you do NOT put them in a temp, because those get deleted.
6) Make sure that your comp isnt set to auto disconnect cuz mine has that feature and I dont know why...
7) If you are renovating your house... try to wait until it is done because often you probably half-drilled through a cable and its having problems funtioning.
If problem persists, go yell yourself horse at your pc provider, lol.
But then again, I once had my speakers playing music, and I scooted my chair forward, and the sound stopped. Then I got angry and unplugged every peice of hardware I had, and replugged it. It worked fine after that.
Oh and try to uninstall your Virus deleter thing because maybe it reads the programs and drivers as viruses and disconnects because it THINKS that a virus is being downloaded.

Can anyone tap into the evergreen school district grading server and change my Grades to As?

I'm pretty sure it's not a virus, I've scanned it with norton antivirus (the definitions are good, but the program sux. I had to manually quarantine the viruses because norton couldn't do anything about it) and kasperskys. I have windows XP sp1 because I heard a lot of people got problems using sp2, so I won't get it until they make fixes for all the games and programs that screw up with it. My computer is a little more than a year old, I recently restored it because my stupid friend decided to be curious and fuck everything up. I only hex edited before I heard about hmt and hht, and I only used hex editors for a little while. And yes, my sound drivers are in where they're supposed to be, and my sound card drivers stopped uninstalling themselves, but now it randomly screws up and tells me that I removed my sound card (which I can't do, it came with the motherboard and is integrated). Trust me, it's not my processor. My other computer has a 366 mhz celeron processor (and it's not a true 366 mhz processor, it only runs at about 250 mhz) and it's been abused a lot from being turned on for long times and overclocking, but it still doesn't give me problems on my other computer. I fixed the problem with the disconnecting internet, it was because I replaced my shitty nortel card with a 3 com one but it wasn't much better and decided to screw up once in a while. I don't really mind it because I just use winipconfig to reconnect and it works perfectly again.
The real problems I'm having are the windows programs not working (they just open and then close after a few seconds) so I have to use 3rd party imitations that I downloaded from the internet. I got rid of norton because it keeps thinking halo is trying to screw up my computer and stuff so I just use kaspersky's now. I'm not going to buy a computer in a while because I'm not rich! lol.
