Need help with xbox live connection

Ive had xbox live for a while now and it always gave me trouble because i use aol dsl which is compatible with xbox live using pppoe settings in a certain format but it was working fine for a year or so and just recently a lil more then 4 weeks after release of halo 2 it stopped working i always get unable to recive dns server adresses form the specified pppoe settings. I was wondering if any of you with aol dsl here kno what im doing wrong i sent quite a few emails to the support people at aol.com the only thing they helped me with was format which i now see is on xbox.com plzz help me
