Elites .ppf and how do I apply .maps?

Would someone be kind enough to make a mod for having elites in BG with a .ppf instead of .dds? Or .map? Please?
Oh yea and How do I apply .maps?

to apply a .map all you have to do is drag (copy/paste) the .map file into you HaloPC MAPS folder. (found in the HaloPC directory)
having elites in Bloodgulch, i think it has to be rebuilt, so then it cannot be a ppf file, but a .map instead
