3ds Max .Obj Importing Trouble (Not Solid)

ok people.....when i import a mc model into 3ds max 6 all of the faces are flipped, and i can see inside of my model. This seriously screw up the skins when i apply them, even after uvw. any help? thanks

i think you can only use the reference models in the tags and resources section :? unless you made it yourself... i dunno..
