record xbox footage question
i hope i put this in right forum. Any way im trying to make some halo 2 videos. From what ive found out it seems like you have to record it to your vcr and then connect your vcr to your pc. However i got my pc connected to my tv with a s video cable and it seems like there should be some way to record footage from your tv directly to pc. Theres so much posts in forums about all kind of stuff i was getting tired of searching, any suggestions. Oh ya i have no money for any hardware or any thing.

Dont think its possible really, you have to get your computer to recognize the live stream from the TV. The only thing I can think of.. is get a TV player program.. thats your only hope.
The alternate thing is to get a capture card. I got a Pyro A/V Link for $150 and I can connect anything I want to my computer. ANYTHING, pal or ntsc, whatever you name it.
I dont think you could have connected your tv to your computer through S-Video withouth a capture card.
Anyway, Im not sure exactly what your hardware status is... But I can tell you S-Video pretty much sucks.

If you really want to capture xbox footage, your best chance is capture card.
