i have the new HDD connected with all the same cords that went into the old harddrive and put it back together wat do i do when i turn it on how do i get it up and running.
Well if its empty, you probably need to install an operating system on it, or Windows, or whatever you gonna put on it.
When you boot up go to your bios, and if you have a cd-drive, make sure that is the first boot priority, then make your hdd the second priority, then put in the windows installation CD, and reboot your computer, and install windows.
