ok, I've had Halo installed before (not to be confused with Halo 2). Recently, I tried to re-install... sucessful... went to fire it up. Not.
I've uninstalled, deleted my entire Microsoft Games folder, zipped and destroyed all folders containing mods, and still the error persists... I'm gonna try one more time, but does anybody know what's going on?

good luck getting any answers, i've tried. nobody seems to know, but there are certain things that you edit that cause them, so just don't edit those ones, that's all the help i can give you. yes i know it sucks.

So what actually happens? Does it come up with an error?
It could be:
Spyware
Adware
Dxdiag error
Driver errors
Scratched cd
Try checking for those things.

its a corrupt windows file.
if you reinstalled Windows, it would clearly not give you any errors.

if you could, try installing on someone else's computer. If it works on theirs, its your computer that is the problem. If it doesnt work, its the CD and you will never be able to play halo again.
