XBOX Error: 07 - Few Questions

Someone told me that 07 designates that the Hard Drive timed out or something? Well, I just recently bought this refurbished system off gamestop.com and contacted them about it a week or so ago to see if I was eligible for exchange. No reply... and so I'm curious:

With no experience whatsoever, can I fix this on my own?
