CE Maps Magic Number....

Post by jimmsta »

I'm currently working on getting a version of Halo Map Expander (see xbox-scene a year ago to see what that is,), for the extraction of resources and such on Linux...

At the moment, because I do not know what the hell the magic number is for HaloCE maps, I get the following output....

NOTE: I've used New_Mombasa_Classic.map, since it's a work that the modders have created, and not copyrighted by bungie....

Code: Select all

I also get a 9.73MB file, which I believe is actually just a part of the BSP...

Yes, this is based on HaloMapExpander (HME)... It's outdated, compared to HMT and HHT, but for linux users, it's a godsend...

And it's just a cool project to undertake...

If anyone knows what the magic number is, I'd be very happy...
