graphics problem

i installed halo demo (cuz my halo cd wont install. see other thread) and it worked fine. but i turned on my compter later, with nothing bad happening, and i start up cartographer, and the marines legs are fuked up, they go off the screen. i know its horizontal tearing, but i tried all the options. if i just use vsync, itll make the marines legs invisible. its actally kinda cool yet annoying. marines with no legs... heh. and also, whenever someone tries to use camoflouge, it makes em invisible halfway... it tries to imitate the image behind you, but it ends up just showing the color behind you, and it gives you a kind of luster, so it makes you bright and blinky. im not compaining, cuz its funny to watch people who thing theyre camo, and i just snipe them, but i just want to know why it does this (this whole camo thing happened with my whole version and demo)
