Right now, I have Intel Extreme Graphics 3D, 30-35fps on 640x480, *sarcasim* woohoo *end sarcasim* So, I know I need a new video card, I have a COMPUSA a few streets down from where I live, and I checked online with the instore products, and I've had my eye on an nVidia GeForce 5700LE with 256 megs of VM. I have a 4x AGP slot, it's 8x/4x AGP compatible *the nVidia 5700LE*, DirectX 9.0 graphics support, *woohoo, specular!* here's the link, http://www.compusa.com/products/product ... pfp=BROWSE and I was wondering how it would perform on Halo @ a resolution of 1024x769, or 1280x1024, with a minimum 250watt power supply. Thanks! :)

Edit-If knowing my pc stats helps, these are it, Inten P4 Processor @ 2.60GHz, 760Mb PC2700 - DDR333 DDR SDRAM, 80Gb HDD, 250Watt power supply, XP Home SP2.

Yeah, it will probably run perfectly. You really won't need to play halo at 1280 x 1024 unless you're using a huge screen, or an LCD screen that makes everything look crappy on lower resolution.

I was thinking of upgrading to a 22" Flat Screen CRT, but my 17" Flat Screen CRT is fine. But, would upgrading to a 300 or 350 watt power supply help any?

Upgrading your PSU won't help your performance, but if your power supply doesn't have enough wattage to supply all your computer components with enough power, they will fail; obviously causing loss of performance.

Uh, may I ask what {XS} stands for in your clan, I might have to change the name to the clan. Becaue I didn't know there were two {XS} clans.
