Geforce FX 5200: DX9 shaders?

I have an NVidia GeforceFX 5200 card. The card fully supports DirectX9 Pixel Shaders 2.0. I am fully aware that with this card running PS2.0, it will run very slowly; but for screenshot purposes I am trying to crank up the graphics. I am wondering why the active camouflage doesn't have the fancy camouflage distortion effect that should work with PS2.0. In the command line for my shortcut, I have "-use20" in order to force PS2.0, which should run anyway. However, I looked at the config.txt in the Halo Custom Edition folder and found that for some reason, pixel shader 1.4 was being forced on my card. I commented that out. However, the active camouflage effect still doesn't seem to work correctly. Anyone know how to fix this? This card should have full DX9 support, I checked on nVidia's website.
EDIT: nvm, I found a way to duplicate the camouflage effect, but it turns MC black from close up. Apparently the 5200's DX9 support is lacking, so I'm just going to forget that idea.
