hmt 3.5 problem

hey i am trying to sp to mp mod... and i followed the tut that came with hmt3.5 to the letter and i get this error:

the process cannot access the file "C:\BuildTree.txt" because it is being used by annother process.

help meee!!

umm, will ur doin this do u have ANY other files open that would SLIGHTLY involve halo, if soo close em down. most of the time when it "cant be found" then its being used by another Program

restart hmt3.5 or delete the c:\buildtree.txt file. that file is used in the rebuild process

im having a problem to only im stuck on the b40/b40_a thing in case of deletion pm me what to do please.
