Adjusting the angle of a light

Post by T Beezie »

OK, I've added a flashlight to my smg, the first time I did it, I attached it at the "ready" position, looked like this,

Well, I really didn't like the fact that the light was projecting from inside of my weap, so I did some more h4x and moved it to the "muzzle_flash" position, turned out like this,

Looks good, cept' well, :?
Now, my question is, how do you adjust the angle of the light, so that it's pointing straight, and not at the ground :?:
Any help would be greatly appreciated, thnx.

Why don't you put it into the ready position, then modify the markers so it spawns where the muzzle roughly is.

^Sounds like that should work^ :)
I'll try it.

Edit: I'm not sure which markers to change, I tried changing a couple in the smg .mode, but it had no effect. :? Does anyone know which marker to adjust?

Well, since "Muzzle Flash" is a SID associated with the Battle Rifle, I would suggest looking there, in the BR's [mode]. Under markers, chunk 3 is the "Muzzle Flash". Try editing that, and see what happens.
