is there somewhere where i can find all of the contents of the halo 2 CD to make another one to hard mod on??

Yes...on your Halo 2 disc you can find all the original content.

Well...you can put the CD in your modded Xbox, then FTP from the D: to your PC's hard drive, then do whatever you want from there and eventually burn it to a CD.

If you don't have a modded Xbox though...I don't know of a PC application that can read Xbox DVDs.

when u say"modded xbox do u mean that ai need to mod my d: drive??
i have an xbox 360...but a friewnd has a regular xbox....i might be able to borrow it... but i still dont get it... i no FTP is a program....but i dont know how to get the ip or user name or password.... again thnx 4 the help!!

A modded Xbox is an Xbox that has a modchip in it, or has been softmodded (info to do that here).

FTP stands for File Transfer Protocol, and is how we get files from the Xbox to our PC.

The IP is given by your dashboard, and the username/password by default is xbox/xbox.

okay... o did;t really mod my xbox....it was an xbox 360 hard drive.....and i just take the maks... and customise them in dot halo...... but i wasnt to be able to mod old maps.... so is there a wasy that some one has copied all the files on the halo 2 disk and uploaded it to the internet???

Don't triple post and the minimum days to bump is 5. I think what you are asking is illegal the "is there a place that has the halo 2 maps on a disk uploaded on the internet".

Ok, so you mod you soft Xbox. Then you use FTP to transfer the Halo 2 disc, in your Xbox, to your computer.

Here's some of my old tuts on how to do both.

How to mod your Xbox:

(There are files that come with it, so I just can't post the tutorial.)

Step 2; FTP Into Your Xbox (Hack Into Your Xbox):

10. Connect a cross over cable (system link cord) from your xbox to your modem, or router to your xbox.
11. Go to system, then setting, then networking, change network type to: DCPH, and change Enable to Yes.
12. Press B, it will ask if you want to save, yes, save it, then turn off xbox, and reboot it without a game in,
13. Go back to networking, then find your xbox

hold on a second......now do u have a regular XBOX...like the first one? cause backups of games will only work on a modded XBOX1.....they won't work on your 360 at all, if you mod ur friends xbox, he'll be able to use it....but sadly not you
